Alright guys, here it is. Sunday 11 am in Parking lot of Fox and Hound at Elmwood. We'll all meet up there, have lunch then cruise out to the lakefront for a while. After the cruise, if anyone is interested we'll head back to the Palace at Elmwood and catch a showing of Fast and Furious 3.

I've also been contacted by a few Rx8 owners and went ahead a posted a thread to invite all local 8's as well.

Charlie, call me when you get in this weekend. For those of you participating in the Autox........good luck and represent. I'll try and swing by to see what's going on out there.
Post your starting times or whatever the schedule is.

Aside from our longtime member Charlie being in town, Chuck Westbrook with his badass FD is coming in to visit Mark.

Turns out my pilot jets were so clogged you couldn't even blow through them; so, my low rpm stumble has been solved. I'm still only getting ~150miles to a tank, though. :/

 

NO we dont....we buy our mandrel pipe in pieces (90*,45*,180* etc.) and make our own SS exhaust syst.

Josh and I were kicking around the idea. We'd love to hangout again, but I have to check with the Mrs. first.

Damn, I'm not even married, and I already have to ask to go play....

 

I'm there with Shawn. I still have to get parts before I can drop in my engine. It will be a stock s5 n/a engine. *cough* Hopefully that damn thing will be done before the end of the summer. I have a really slow cash flow comming in if any. So that is the hold up.

 

Stock in the same way that the STi is stock, right?

 

I might be able to make it for sunday after work. Most likely I won't get out there till around 6. If yall are still at the lakefront I'll hit yall up (hopefully my car will be out the body shop being so fresh and so clean).

 

Now that i have times and stuff,I well be out there sunday and might make it out saturday morning but i don't know cuz friday is my birthday so i'll probley be out until saturday morning,LOL.If not i'll meet u all sunday at fox and hound.I'll be the guy probley rolling up in a stock black sc300-5spd.
Hopefully i can catch a ride with Edward if his car ever gets out the damn shop .

Anywho Jonathan, I went and saw your friend Robbie today and he has my car. I hopefully will be getting it back tomorrow morning. THanks for the advice about going to see him. I feel a little bit better since you recomended him.

Remember, from the top of the I-310 bridge to my house is only 37 mi. In the 12 years I've lived in Houma, I've occasionally "done it" in <30 min. (well, I made all the traffic lights).

We ain't formal; showin' up before 6 pm is okay - it's just more socializing.

But Sunday is the main event..........

Man I'm pumped about this weekend... a buddy is coming in town, my best friend Matt is dropping his 240sx(s14) off to freddie and jonathan for a SR20 swap, then we have a crab boil on Sat in New Orleans then the meet Sunday... Beautiful.

I got all my parts in my house for my fuel system and NS conversion... BNR's should arrive today or tomorrow... If Matt wasn't dropping off his car this weekend, I'd be dropping mine off...


Hey Jonathan/Freddie -- How involved is changing out the rear wheel bearings? I believe I need them and have them at my house, just not many tools... Is that something we could do on saturday morning? Let me know.

Well you guys....in 10 years my car should be running.lol I have a huge list of parts I have to get before I can even think about starting it up. I will let you guys know how my progress is going. I guess for now it's bumming ridees from Shawn to go to meets. heh
