it seems the DFW group has been quiet for a while. but there are some things comming up.
this saturday, is the monthly meet at chedars.
there are some track events coming up.
and MNF is comming back.

 

Cheddars is right across the street. I like that.

 

I got an email from Tim that this Sat's meet was cancelled... I forget why.

Hot Import Nights is Sat night, but that's not the reason.

 

Its cancelled probably because the MSR event is that same day.

 

well dose not mean we still cant have a meet

 

chedars has $2.50 big bowl margaritas on wednesday nights

 

I mean, I'm still up for it if just a few of us want to meet and maybe eat at Cheddar's or whatever.

I could SO go for a margarita, it isn't even funny. Or just a beer for that matter. <sigh> Maybe I'll make an exception just this one time.

I don't know about MNF, but I was there last night and beer was $2.

 

The DFW-RX7 get-together for this weekend is still on, it's the next one, September 3rd, that's canceled - we're having a track day at MSR instead.
The get-together is at the parking lot just to the southwest of Cheddar's at Macarthur and 635, usually begins at 8 PM.
Our Events Coordinator (JC Krueger) is apparently off camping somewhere, so there wasn't the usual announcement.

 

alright looks like beer and street racing is still on!!!
