Anybody go (to the Van's Meetings) was: NEBody go...

The problem is there is TOO MUCH to do in Austin. At least I'm never at a loss. Monday's are always rough cause I don't sleep during the weekends.
Anyways, what kind of meet is the Van's meet? Like the Oak Hill meet or younger people and cars?
I'll be there once the Mound has new paint, but right now I'm ashamed of it.
Right on.

Ok evereyone after the meeting with Shawn the GM of vans and one of the owners of vans Begining May 21st there will be some changes taking place.
1. There will now be a charge to park in the lot. TRS members will be allowed to either pay a one time 25 dollar a year membership that will allow you unlimited access to the lot. This membership does not gaurentee parking but does give you first parking consideration. If membership is chosen you will be given a small specialty parking sticker that will be required to go above the tags on your car. If you choose not to join as a member then there will be a 1 dollar parking charge. Upon entering you will be issued a ticket of sorts and are required to keep that ticket to not have to pay to reenter if you leave. All bikes belonging to TRS members will be allowed to park free of charge but you must park on the Patio next to the building.
2. New Rules: At anytime these rules are broken you will be asked once to stop if asked twice you will be asked to leave and will forfeit your entry fee. Members will not be allowed to park for in the lot the following week. Repeat offenders who are members will have there membership revoked and will lose their 25 dollars.
No Alcohol
No Burnouts
No Animals
No Minors with out a parent
No Revving of Engines
No peeling out from the lot
No loud Music in the lot
3. Upon obtaining a membership you will be required to sign a form waiving liability. Vans and TRS will not be held Liable for anything that happens in the lot.
4. You must enter off of Ohlen Rd. The entrance off 183 will be blocked off. This is for your safety as we are letting people in. I dont think anyone wants to be rear ended out there.
5. All Money collected will be going back to help with lot improvements.
6. No one is allowed to park in the PetsMart parking lot. If you do you take the risk of being towed.
If all goes well we will eventually use the money to throw a BBQ of somesort or do other events. If you have any questions Please post them in this thread only. This has been approved by vans and the members of TRS that did show up for the meeting last night.

Well, as far as the RB header goes, you've either gotta run it or the complete stock exhaust. As far as the carb goes, Spec allows it pretty stripped (all emissions & choke) but I don't really know what all folks do to them stock. If you want to go racing, you really can't beat the Texas Spec7 rules, it lets you do enough gofast stuff so you don't get bored (compared to other Spec-rulesets) but it doesn't let you go as far as ITA/Pro7.
Then again, I'm contemplating building an EP car because I hear you can get enough power out of it streetported to feel like it has power, and there's a lot you can do with suspension and brakes in the class. Of course, I'll have to build a Lightweight7 to play with a few tricks I've come up with before I go full-on with an EP car.
