Oh and on a side note, autocrossing is a good time and my car is set up to do so, and this is no means directed towards anybody inparticular, but the only people that complain about straight line racing are usually those with slow cars

yeah i'm still in. don't get me wrong i like to watch drag race and mess around with friends, but I agree with simon that cornering is where it's at. and my car isn't slow jerk face =(

 

Haha yea we're not making fun of you sean. I don't mind drag, i just personally don't think it's as fun, but that's just me. If draggin is your forte then go for it

 

I'll be there Friday. I usually run the autocross anyway. I'll be there around 6:30. Hopefully, my car doesn't crap out on me like it did last time. I frickin hate those cones.

I didn't say anyone was slow, and I'm just messin around anyways, but it also takes a lot of skill to get a good launch and keep the car in its optimum powerband to get a good time. I do agree though that autocrossing does take a lot more skill. I've roadraced both cars and motorcycles and I can say that it is a MUCH better time than dragracing. We'll see how well the FC does at both when its done. Hopefully I can get a good range of power in it to run good E.T.'s and also get some good lap times without letting the rear end get out from under me

 

Sweet! Maybe I'll see it tomorrow in the South Lot parking lot when I go to work. I can't wait. Otherwise I'll see it at the autoX. Unfortunately I want to bring the camera, but my parents went to NY and took it with them . They come back tomorrow, I'll see what time they arrive back and try and get it before the autoX. I'll see you all there.

Pretty succesful I'd say, although we ended up in the middle of ******* nowhere and Candace was too scared to get out of her car to get a drink at the "Miner's Pick Tavern" or whatever the hell it was called. Probably a good decision since Steven almost got raped.

Thanks Tom for suggesting the trip up North 14. I loved being able to open Sasha up for a change, and I think we all had a great time.
