Well this was the first meet I have attended and I was intentionally trying to keep a low profile. We all know there is a lot of resentment to LS swaps by many on this board and, not knowing anyone, I didn't want to look like I was anti-rotary or showing off a V8 Mazda, so I didn't open the hood until someone asked to see it. But since you asked, here is what's under the hood:

Prior to getting this car I drove a 1971 Trans Am with a 455HO round port motor. Pontiacs are torque-monsters and mine was probably putting down 450-500 ft-lb of torque. The FD (even with the swap) is easily 1000 lbs lighter than the TA, and the swap was already done when I bought it. I haven't dyno'd or tracked the car since I bought it, but the car came with a dyno sheet and time slips: 442rwhp, 408rwtq, and ran a 10.9x @124. Not trying to brag, just the facts, ma'am...

There is another Bone Daddy's that is 1 exit north of 635, on 75, if that one would be closer to the meets.

Ahhh, those wheels! I remember them especially since it was the only FD my poor little stock '83 with a dying clutch could hang with at MSR in 2003 where I first saw them...

I'm sorry I missed this one...nice pics, guys...

Yeah I think i remember someone saying the only reason you could keep up is because those wheels were so heavy. Ahhh memories.

I think the best part about that car is someone offered him free stock FD wheels one time and he didn't take them...

I saw that car for sale on autotrader, too.
