Oh, theres this big urban legend thing that occured in the late 90s. This woman who didnt even purchase her vehicle there brought it to get serviced, kinda like Josh did... ...I guess she didnt like the results either (cant remember exactly what they did or did not do, and she started parking her vehicle infront of the dealership with signs that read "Village Ford Lies" I also heard that she would sometimes appear on street corners holding a sign reading the same thing. I thought it was all bull, until one day I saw her standing by the Mcdonalds by Walmart on 1171 with her sign confirming that she did infact exist. I later heard that Village Ford wanted to get rid of her so bad that they offered her some wonderful amount, possibly even a new car (cant remember) all just to shut her up, but she was so stubborn, she refused. After that everyone just ignored her, because clearly she didnt really want anything. Im not real sure if she had an impact of Village Ford's demise.

Yeah, I think the fox bodies are the ugliest mustang out there, #2 would be the mustang II if anyone counts that. Hatchback would be he best of the 3, followed by the coupe, and then a convertible with the top up.

I heard about that too. Real sad. The v6 community was all upset about it. But I totally understand Fords reasoning behind it. Why spend the money on a v8 if the v6 will put out 10hp less. If they didnt, GT sales would be so small, that they probally would kill off that version of the car, and no one wants to see that.

Plus it would turn corners like teh awesome. I'd blow your doors off to about 140-150 - no way I'm going faster than that in that little thing. Then I'd use my binoculars so I could make out that little blurry red ball of flame in the distance from where some soccer mom on her cellphone changed lanes in front of you in her Yukon without signalling.
I know what kind o car you meant...of course I would be cruising down the Autobahn at 140mph when you pull up next to me to race...no worries about the soccer mom.

Im Richter12x2's wife. I appeared at only 1 RX7 meet, but that was way back last year (possibly even 2005) I also attended the cannonball with him, using my car. Come April, I will start requesting every 1st sat of the month off for a monthy mustang event, which will be cool, because it runs from 5-8, and then I can go straight to the RX7 meet from there.

BTW... ...since we're on the subject of ferraris now... ...now I understand this is sad and unbelievable, but Ive had several people thought my mustang was a ferrari. Yeah yeah, I know. They saw the color red, then saw a pony logo, people are stupid, what can I say?

Heh, that F40 driver is the FIRST time I've seen a Ferrari owner use turn signals And then for extra "haha" at that Silver RX-8 and Black bimmer trying to run with them.

no signal too. But if it were 35E, Id say the RX-8 was giving plenty room and good communication of his lane change. Was he the same silver rx8 from the first 30 second of it? If so, thats lame

On 35E one has to change abruptly, jerking their vehicle very suddenly into your lane. And to classify as "cutting off" you CANNOT be able to see their bumper due to their closeness. This is very scary, as many times I will think I'm about to get hit, or will be hit. The #1 thing not to do is to try to avoid them, because then you might swerve into a wall, when you would have just been perfectly fine where you were.

all you have to do is stay on the left hand lane and pass on the shoulder

Thats illegal, and very dangerous as theres debris, ignore walls. The left lane is for passing. Everyone in that video should have known what the ferraris were doing and changed lanes to let them pass, speeding or not. The gold mercedes did just that, and he wasnt even in the left most lane.

Mentioning 35E again, the reason theres an actual LAW in TX for slow traffic keep right is because once I was in the left lane stuck behind some slow pokes, and I watched as this one truck jerked his vehicle from the left to the middle, to the right, on the shoulder, partially kicking up dirt, rocks, and grass, swerve back onto the road, merged into the middle, and then back to the left. I dont know if he gained any length from that, as I was now behind him. But since all that happened at once, so suddenly, by letting him pass, everyone could have avoided what could have been a natsy wreck.

The only time Ive ever past using the shoulder, on a highway was when two idiots had a fender bender on 635 at night in the left most lane. They were STOPPED in that lane, and with no hazards. Had the person infront of me not driven on it first, I probally would have slammed into them. Whats even scarier is that if the drivers were standing in the shoulder at the time, we would have hit them going 50-60mph avoiding the vehicles, not seeing them.

DIVX, or you may be able to make a wma, that compresses it a little.

Right near my house is a stupid tree memorial. 7 years ago, this one Junior was going to school (was early IMO) and decided to pass this one @$$hole who no one liked by using the shoulder. Now then, at that time, the speed limit was 50mph, and Im pretty sure the @$$hole he passed was already speeding. I couldnt understand just how he manage to drive off the shoulder, and travel 200ft before wrappng his car around the tree. Whats sad was I had to be TOLD that was a car. it looked like a black trash bag got draped around it.

I guess he must of either hit debris, or got too close to the grass, or maybe there was a flaw in the assphalt. All I know is everytime I pass it I remember thats why you dont be stupid on the road. I never really thought much about it in HS. Back then, a portion of that road was 60mph. I would travel 80+ on that, and only because the 4 people infront of me wouldnt go any faster... ...and STILL someone from behind managed to pass me, and all 4 cars on the shoulder.

I dont know what Josh has been telling you, but just because a person enjoys watching the Smurfs, does NOT automatically make them a commie.
