Xs Engineering T04s On 13b Rew ?

QUESTION, I see on the dyno a T04S on a motor with large street port hitting 100rwhp at 3400rpm and a T04E with stock motor hitting 100rwhp at 3000rpm , maybe i should compare torque, anyhow does any one have a stock motor ,or even a mild street port ,using T04S getting better low end ?? comparable to a T04E?

I can allways port the motor later on for more but I only want to buy a turbo once ,and i want some respectable low end for now.

Thats just it, to get the low end you like you really need to keep the twins, just about all the single turbos will feel less power at that low of rpm's but as soon as you get up there i can only imagin the power. I have also read that large ports reduce low rpm torque. Maybe you should try another small single like the apex kit.

I have a street port and a T04s. I don't make power until 4000 rpm plus. I can be beaten from a stop, but not from a roll

I have a To4S with a stock motor and the turbo usually spools up at around 3-4,000 rpm. I'm sure i'll be beat at a stop but once that thing comes on, you better run!!
IMO, low end is not what i look in to the most. mid and high end is my main priority.

T04E (even with the big "60" trim) is still more efficient down low versus the T04S04 (TS04, T04S).&nbsp Look at the compressor maps - they will tell you that.

I just looked at my old dyno with my seq twins with street port and I was only getting about 100-110 HP at 3K rpms. I am installing a 60-1 T04E this weekend and I expect to see the same power at 3K rpms. It may not spool up as quick as my twins, but the HP should be the same if not more on the low end (3K-4K).

If you just buy the turbo you are about 1/10th done... Just look at my specs and thats about what youll need.

My T04s makes half the low end power of stock, as much midrange power as stock, and double the high end. If I was to do it all over I would do a 60-1. It is, after all, my street car...
