Where to buy a s472

Hey guys, ive been searching around for a cheap alternative to the borg warner s372, 72mm is class max and i would like to stay with the 72 to 71mm size if passable.

bulseyepower quoted me 950 for the s472 there is no way im going to pay that..
you guys seem to be the best at finding cheap places for turbos any help would be greatly appreciated.

oh yeah its for a honda

$950 is not a bad price, a lot depends on what you are having done specs wise as that can effect cost quit a bit. Example would be if they are offering a one off or proprietary housing. People think because they see a of the shelf Agg. turbo for $400 bucks the ones custom spec'd for their small 4cyl should cost the same.

Yeah i know the S372 is custom bullseye because its T4 and comes in much smaller A/R turbine housing combos.

The S472 and i know for sure the S471 are shelf turbos they are cheapest when sold with a T6 flange and 1.32 A/R turbine housing witch is what i want.

You guys are picking up shelf S475 turbos [witch i might go with] I want a shelf S472.

You want a T6 1.32 on your 4cyl. Not trying to bash, just being sure.

If you don't mind me asking what are you planning on running this turbo on and at what boost?
Here's a S-372 at 47psi.

If you're plannig on racing professionally you should wait for what the rules require. The T-6's were not allowed up to last year.

i know. and the S372 is hot **** turbo for next season. im 99% sure there only going to allow T4 foot print turbos.

i can only make it to 2 events if im lucky, and i think they'll let me pass with a t6 since its almost the same, and im a nobody.. lol

Chris is right about the T6's and they are far from a T4, but if your only going to run it and not actually compete who cares.

Just because I'm curious, what fuel do you run when cramming 40+ psi into the engine?

This thread belongs in the 'other cars' section! :)

Replaced the S-372 with a GT42 ball bearing and made 904awhp at 47psi tonight on C-16 with major wheel spin. Too bad the S-372 could not hang on for more than two passes on the track. At the same boost the S-372 was good for 820awhp and 9.51 @153mph. Tommorow we'll see what the Garrett is good for!

Which turbine options are/did you use?? And I would assume these were just one turbo no N2O?

Saw that all three bullseye units blew apart with only a few dyno pulls.
