What Do You Think The Outcome Would Be?
Racing from a roll, say a 40 kick or a 70 kick, which do you think would win:
Streetported 3rd Gen with T-78 pushing approx. 440 rwhp @ 18 psi
or
Pettit 3 rotor running with stock twins?
Just curious (I have the opportunity to run one )

It depends, I have heard the pettit triple rotor actually puts down 450 flywheel with the stockers, I think more but ask Cameron he will tell you...He who has the most hp is the fastest...

if you wanta race the guy i would say race from a stop.. they are a good bit heavier than the stock fd because of all the changed that had to be made to put the 3 rotor in.. plz correct me if im wrong about this..

I ran 96 mph in the 1/8th mile. Traction was terrible. I bought the last remaining set of BFGs to put on my car We'll see how that helps.
When I ran this time, my tranny was needing a rebuild and my clutch sucked. Because of this, I "granny" shifted down the track. I'd like to see 100 mph in the 1/8th when I go back (probably next weekend). Where did you hear about me running at the track?

I did go for a ride a few times with Cam in the 3-rotor!
I would say if it was from a low speed like around 40 mph the 3-rotor would have some advantage but a single turbo 13B do pull alot stronger on top in my opinion! The best I believe the 3-rotor ran with Brooks driving was like an 11.80's at 122 mph and that was on Street Et's!
Going by the butt dyno the car felt like it was around 400 to 420RWHP in the peak rpm range but the torque especially at low rpms felt more like 400 to 450RWTQ!

It's been awhile since I rode in Pettit's 3 rotor.
But going by memory, it pulled a lot harder in the lower revs but was very similar in the upper rev range to my now single turbo R1.
I would also agree that whoever has the most max hp will win, low rpm torque/hp will play only a small role in a 40 or 70 mph punch.
