water ports on turbo
I have a T66 thats water cooled and oil cooled,a lot of people said not to use the water ports cause all those extra water hoses sooner or later is going to leak ,whats your opinion.

If you have a water jacket on the CH, you can't just ignore it.  I don't think the oil is enough to suppress all the heat.  I have heard of folks using oil through the water jacket as a viable alternative.  I don't see why it's that hard to hook-up the coolant lines if you do have a water-cooled CH - your stock turbos already have the provisons for them?
If you're talking about going with a water-cooled CH versus a non-water-cooled CH, then go with the "dry" CH.  The water-cooled CH is just added protection - if you're disciplined to cool the turbo down after hard runs, there's no need for a water-cooled CH.
