Question Turbo Tuning

Im going to be running a Turblown.net Stage V GT35R. Elliot is making a sweet custom manifold for me. I have a 12a street-port with a 47 OER sidedraft and one piece intake manifold. Just wondering if anyone has a similar setup and what they are running for EGTs and AFRs. What are they running for timing? Also what kinda of suel system and rising rate FPR? Also anyone who has tuned a similar carb as far as jetting with a turbo and whats a good place to start? I want to run 15ish PSI and am looking for 400rwhp. Also is anyone still running their OMP? or is everyone running premix? right now its wired completely open...

Thanks

timing...lock your dizzy and set it @ 10 L and 0 T

fuel... im using a gslse pump (95 lph i think) 3/8" suply line, areomotive raising rate CARB fpr.i dont remember the modle # off hand. but you will need a return style raising rate fpr for a carb and a FI fuel pump.

omp...... the 12a omp wont have enuff power to work with that kind of boost( i pre mix and will be running 10 psi)

BOOST... @ 10 psi is about the max you can run an a 12a befor the rear iron will crack.
you should contact Robert @ rotary shack... he is the king of webber blowthroughs

afr......i will be tunning for about 13.5 @idle and 11.75--12.?? @ wot

oh ya ... im doing a 12a holley blowthrough.

Its called an OER Japanese Racing Carb... Some jets and adjusting screws.. thats my engine management. dont care too much about emissions either

Damn I love living in WI and having no emissions testing... plus Hobbyist plates

Possibly the single biggest reason turbo charging became a viable & reliable option in both motorsport & OEM applicaitons is the level of control that engine management offers.

Trying to bodgy up boost retard on distributors & boost enrichment on carbs is like old men chasing young girls - its dodgy & nobodys impressed!
