Dude, you need to search and do a lot more research before you start messing with the engine on your FD....

You are asking if you need a wastegate....if you know how a turbo system functions you wouldn't have a need to ask such a question.

stock twins = factory wastegate

single turbo = aftermarket wastegate

you couldnt use the stock wastegate on a single turbo if you wanted too.

stock wastegate is internal on the stock twins. Also dont go by what other people unless they are people on here or a reputable shop ie. PFS, Banzai racing etc. You'll find out when it come to this car some people can tell you amazingly dumb things like the guy who told me i needed the bolt on 3 rotor kit from japan.....SICK!!!

Barban has been around the FD scene much longer than you, and he is 100% correct.

Based on this thread, I recommend you spend a LOT more time in research and learn as much as possible. Use the single turbo archives as well as www.TurbobyGarrett.com.

Do not waste our time with threads like this, it's obvious you know next to nothing about your car in general, and about turbo systems in particular.

I'm closing this thread, do not start another one like this. Thanks.
