Turbo selection for an FC

My head is gonna explode if I have to try and search anymore.

Here is my problem. I was gonna use a TD07 25G w/ a greddy manifold on my FC turbo, but unless I can get the turbo rebuilt I'll have to get a new one. It would appear that the most popular singles around are made by Garrett. I need something that will help me reach 450 rwhp on pump gas (94) and hopefully around 500 rwhp on C16. Also I need something that will bolt to the greddy manifold that I already have. GT40? GT42? I would prefer to go non ball bearing just because of the cost, but I'll ultimatly have to go with whatever works.

Any help would be great.

GT35, GT40, or PT67s seem to be the popular choices these days for those numbers. A GT35 might be a stretch on pump gas though. A GT40 or PT67 should definitely get you there.

Those turbos will get you there, but unless I totally forgot what I knew they won't bolt up to a GReddy manifold. I could be wrong though.

Get with ZeroR on this forum. He runs A-Spec tuning and would be the most knowledgeable person I could think of when it comes to what a GT turbo will or will not bolt up to. He also has about the best prices around on the GT turbos.

Ya, what he said.

I ended up just rebuilding my Greddy turbo so I didn't end up having to make the choice.

Good Luck.

If anything, the GReddy would've fit any of the Garrett T04 type flanges.
