(turbo newb alert) oil smoke after t04b/ht18 hybrid FC

hi, i built and put a hybrid turbo on my s4 fc chassis rx7 a few weeks ago and now it smokes @ and idle. the only two things that i can think of that could cause this problem is: 1. i damaged the rear oil seal when i assembled it, or 2. my drain doesnt work.

i dont think it is the front oil seal because the intercooler pipes show little to no oil residew.

i suspect the rear oil seal because its the first turbo i rebuilt and could have damaged it
i suspect the drain line because i had to make an oil drain due to the fact that the stock s4 oil drain doesnt clear the t04b compressor housing, so i used a s5 turbo side drain line and the s4 front cover flange and used a secton and i'm sure this changed the angle of my drain pipe sence the drain flange at the trubo comes down farther (clearing the compressor housing), i also have smoke that comes out of the brether filter that i have in my catch-can system.

i had a stock perfect condition jdm stock s5 turbo on it b4 i put the hybrid on and it didnt smoke whatsoever.

i'll prolly be tearing back into it soon when i put it away for the winter.

thanks!

Did you install the breather at the same time as the turbo? Is the oil diluted with fuel?

pull the turbo back off and get some pics of the turbine housing inlet and outlets as well as your oil drain.
