i would like the Greddy T-78 kit, because I like the Greddy parts and the way it looks. And most of all, it gives out more HP than the other ones. It may lag a little more, but I think its worth it.

I don't know...leaning towards either the T-78 or the T04s..I am looking for 440 rwhp on pump gas and 480 plus rw on race fuel....I hear the To4s produces less lag but the T-78 makes more power.....

I would go custom kit, its cheaper and more efficient. Get a manifold ($550 - $600) Get a Turbo ($1000 t66 ) Get a wastegate ($300 HKS standard 40mm) Custon Downpipe ($150) lines gaskets and intercooler piping ($500) Thats $2650 for more horsepower than you would know what to do with ask pluto

I went with the T04E xs-engineering kit. It's being installed now at KDR. Reason was the great low end power and not much lag for a single. I don't care about 450rwhp. I'll get 400rwhp at 15psi and that is good enough for me, if it's as reliable as Dave says it will be.
We'll see.

For the street.... APEXi - nothing spools faster and gives up very little to any other turbo running pump fuel.
For the strip... T78/88 - need boost to make power.

Ok, why is lag such a concern when it comes to street use? How often are you below 4000 rpms when racing? Vosk, get the 66 bad *** turbo. With the right combinaton of exhaust housing and manifold, you should have full boost at 4500 right in the gear switch rpm range. When I had the Tso4 with the hks manifold on my Ported 87 t2 I had full boost by 4400 rpms and redline gearshifts would out it right back in the sweet zone. Plus there is nothing like the feeling of the car building boost from nothing then exploding when full boost is aquired

I'm running a T-78 with an undivided manifold on a ported motor and full boost comes on around 4-4.5K. If I feel that I'm having a problem with lag I can just shift to a lower gear.

Greddy SUCKS... What you should do is buy a Turbonetics T66 and have a custom manifold made, Tial 46mm Wastegate, Spearco intercooler, and custom piping.. You would spend about the same as buying a turbo kit but you will have much better system And more horsepower then you can handle in the street.. The car would spin in every gear...
