Thought I'd drop in. Bet you don't have *that* shield - I made my own
Keep plugging away, you will get there eventually.
BTW don't ya just hate the ATP flat rate shipping charge?. Stupid $5 fitting cost $10 to ship or something like that.

oh ok, no I have the ATP heat shield. I will use both cause I was told it works best with an air pocket, so the shield should create one. I also bought a '95 manifold without the EGR. I originally wanted the GZ but I intend to keep the ACV. I just had a new bracket made for the 19row Mocal, since I originally had a 25row. I may run both eventually but I wanted the clearance since I have the thermostat mounted underneath the cooler.

Man, I tell ya if I was the incredible Hulk I would have stomped on my car and thrown it in the Pacific ocean!!!
Are we supposed to get longer allen head bolts for the waste gate or do we remove that 1/4" spacer that recesses in to the bottom?

^ thanks. I needed longer bolts to fit the whatchamahoozits spacer thingy above. I found some at Lowes.
OK, got as far as I could by myself and dropped it off at M'Trix to get it running. John is working on it right now and may possibly solve any fitment issues. I forgot to take a pic of it in the shop. I am having the APex boost control kit and the Sard FPR installed as well. Once it's running I can finish the FMIC piping and any other custom issues needed. It doesn't look like the smog pump will fit and i'd rather not have one then do an elctric setup. It would have allready been cheaper to pay a tip every other year. ...anyone else running my same kit?

Did you look at my site to see fitment of the stock airpump if you are using a short runner manifold? I still have a functional stock airpump with the GT35R.
That "spacer thingie," in case no one else mentioned it, is in fact the wastegate valve seat - VERY important!

^ Yes, thanks! Yes a short runner manifold, but with T4 flange and 46MM WG and my dump return is routed differently (maybe because it's devided T4?). I had the compressor outlet rotated towards the manifold (same as in Atihun's pics) for fitment but that interferes with the air pump pipe or rather that pipe is in the way of connecting a pipe to the turbo outlet. If I rotate it left towards the fender then it rubs worse on the intake manifold. My turbo manifold is supposed to be the same as the other T3's but I don't see any one elses as close as mine. My only "guess" is the T4 flange was welded on at the wrong angle causing the compressor snail to rub.
Ok I was able to insert the "valve seat" (thank you) with long alen head bolts. Sean is also sending me button head ones to. He has been excellent in helping me. Unfortunately i've only been able to work on the car about one weekend a month and since I don't want to remove full coverage, i've been wasting money having it sit in the garage though.

Well the T3 fits with modification as shown on Crispy's site. I beleive I was the first request for the T4 shorty to retain the air pump. It would have been nicer and easier if it sat farther back. M'Trix enlarged the mounting holes on both the exhaust manifold and the turbo to clear the air pump. I'm not shure if it's enough yet. I hope this doesn't impede flow by not lining up the manifold ports to the turbine inlet ports. This is a learning process for me and even though they sell many kits, they are still custom and some modification should be expected. It's just very frustrating that I can't do it myself.
