alright bringing this one back from the dead because in still having trouble with the boost. i have pulled fuel out and im hitting this "wall" where to car feels like its being held back still. i have replaced the uim gasket, TB gasket, tb elbow to tb gasket, and primary injector insulators. Only one i haven't replaced is the LIM which im dreading and hope its not my problem. also when im boosting and let off i hear a squeal from around the turbo area like a compressor surge, but my BOV is functioning properly. any ideas are appreciated. thanks

Did you pressure test the intake to see if replacing all the gaskets was necessary? This would be my next step. Is your ignition breaking up at all? Please elaborate on this wall you feel.

yes i did pressure test the system and didnt hear/feel any leaks. ignition is not breaking up one bit. AS for the "wall", it the hardest thing to explain, but at 5 psi and below the is fine pulls great. when i give it more throttle its like it doesnt make a bit of difference and its actually slower at lets say 10 psi than 5psi. also resent development from last night, it wont even boost to 10psi any more. just hangs around 7psi or so. this is with a 1 bar spring btw. would a leak in the lim gasket be great enough to cause this? the reason i dont think is that gasket is because my idle isnt high.

If you had a leak at the LIM gasket you would see a dirty area around the leak as there is always a bit of oil in the intake. If you have a 1 bar wg spring (did you check it with a hand pump and press gage?) and you are seeing 10psi or less then you have issues with the turbo, or one helluva leak that you should hear, or your ignition is dying. Misfire can cause fits trying to AFR tune. gl

Take the air filter off and make sure the turbo spins freely and that there isn't excessive play. When you pressure test the intake you should use soapy water to help find any leaks. If anything after the throttle body was leaking very much you're idle would be very high. Pull your plugs and take a look this will give you an idea of what kind of mixture is going on. Check to make sure you don't have any of the plug wires switched around. If everything is hooked up correct and you're certain the piping from the turbo to the tb isn't leaking then i would be inclined to think you're ignition system isn't functioning like it should, or the afr's you think you see really aren't whats going on. Get some fresh plugs to see if it improves.

hey guys, wanted to let everyone who helped me out know that i have solved the problem. Dudemaaanownsanrx7 you nailed it on the head about the ignition. i took my UIM off and pulled the coil pack harness off and was inspecting it. i looked at the leading coils wires and touched one and it was just chilling in there and maybe had one strand of wire holding it on. so i repaired everything back to normal and while i was in there installed my jacobs FC1000 and holy ***** this thing is a whole different car!!!!!!!! its way smoother and pulls insane up top!! im in love lol. anyways thanks all who helped.
