Aeromotive A1000 pumps are fairly easy to max out. I've already done it numerous times.
Flow rates drop pretty quick with higher pressure.
Honda's can run very lean and their BSFC is low. One A1000 can make 700hp pretty easily. although i would still use two. making over 700hp on a honda nowadays is not rocket science.
Turbo Mustangs require two of them to make over 750hp.
Most people use Aeromotive elimater pumps or the pro series.
Either way i wouldn't try to use one A1000 pump on a rotary that i plan to make serious HP on. if your going to use an elec pump then Magnaflow EFI600 is the pump to use. Otherwise you'll find that you will need to use two pumps.
Bosch pumps are very good pumps as well.
lately rather then even messing with elec pumps now i use mech pumps.
Nothing will ever flow like a Mech Pump.

I hate to add fuel to the fire but what the hell, this thread is circling the drain anyhow. I was running an A1000 on my car at a base pressure of 45 psi. I ran across a good deal on a Weldon D2015-A so i installed it. NOTHING else changing. I fired the car up and the base pressure jumped to 60 psi. I am running a MagnaFuel pressure regulator and #8 feed #6 return line. I know this says nothing about the quality of either pump but in my opinion it says a lot about the flow.

Bosch 044 pumps ( not the ones fron the auto parts store around the corner) are twice the money of the Aeromotive, they support 600whp each, and the running 2 of them in a RX7 is the best way to go unless you have a fuel cell and money to buy a Weldon 2025 or 2035.
Weldon is the only way to go if running methanol.

We just had BDC come out and tune all of our cars here in Colorado and he did a great job. I ran out of fuel at 19lbs, but it feels much faster. It will be interesting to see what MMonacos car does since he was able to tune up to 24lbs and even pulls much harder. I guess we will see what happens on June 11th for the NHRA import drags.
