Transmissions..........?

My car is getting a ladder bar suspention now with a 10 bolt rear end so when it gets tubbed out this winter it wont be that much work. I need a transmission that will support about 800 rwhp. I also dont want to sepnd million dollars on a ******* trans. I heard the HKS one will support about 1025 horsepower, but ill be got damnded if I spend $7000 on a trans. Is there a way I can use a toyota supra TT transmission with my car? I cant afford to buy 10 fc transmissions. I would like to keep the price to around $2000 - $2500 so jerico and g-force are out of the question. Someone hook me up and help me!

Keep your eyes open for a 4+1 pro shifted Dough Nash or Richmond. They are not manufactured any more but are available used for about $1500 to $2000.If you want give Liberty Transmissions a call.

there is a company down in Cali that fabricates their rotary engines to
Tremec transmissions. **** I'll try to find you that address. I blew mine already, and needed some fun with a bulletproof solution I posted about it in the 3rd gen section a couple of months back, but got no interest. Don't get a supra tranny... my friend has 400 in his 94 supra and toasted it no problem.

Say I did blow the trans up, what am I looking at for repairs? Would I have to send it back to japan?

ten bolt GM rears shouldn't be asked to support 800 HP. I'm sure everyone has different opinions on this but a twelve bolt would be much stronger. I mean really you are using the smaller of the two GM rears and with no lack of power I might add. the switch from ten to twelve bolt is not very hard. just sourcing the parts. lates

At what HP levels does the 12 bolt max out at? I havent bought the 10 bolt yet. I just dont want to run into any driveline problems.
