you think the to4s would supply 300rwhp safely with 720cc all around and with power fc and a front mount
specs on the to4s
flow: 61 lbs/min 781cfm
.70 A/R HOUSING
60-1 WHEEL

Too much mix-up of the naming conventions...
The T04E "60" is pretty straight-forward, but a "T04S" isn't.
I used to think "T04S" = "T04S04" or just "TS04" for short.
"T04S04" is a standard Garrett naming convention.
Turbonetics calls the TS04 a "T58", just to add more confusion.
Someone pointed out there was an HKS "T04S" that was significantly larger.
Now, the questions is...which turbo are we talking about?
A TS04 will produce the same about of power as a 60-1.
Although not identical, the 60-1 makes more efficient power at lower boost, while the TS04 makes more power at boost over 15psi.
Don't let the 4" inlet fool you.
60-1, T04E "60", TS04 all make about the same amount of power...
The HKS T04S is a whole different beast...

My friend IAN made 408 whp and 303 ft. lb (at 15-17 psi don't quite remember which), on a streetport S4 block with FD rotors. Tuned by Steve Kan.

If you're only looking for 300 rwhp and you have to stick with stock porting, I'd be tempted to say go with P trim, 0.84 turbine, 60-1 compressor, T04S cover.
I have no doubts that a T04E could work nicely too, but I just think it leaves you with less room to grow if you decide to go that route one day.

You can get the t04e with a 4" inlet as well, it comes with the antiwhistle/surge shroud built into it...
The difference between the 3 is really the shaft size for the wheels..
You can't jump up in comp size from the t04e 60, 60-1 should you decided you want more, the "quill" size is larger on the T series turbo's starting with the Ts04, and will not work with the smaller shaft turbos, some people have and do cut them down, but Neither turbonetics nor garrett will do it, recommend it, or warranty it, neither will most turboshops as I found out..So the Ts04 would be a good choice for someone who down the road wants to expand a little, you can jump to a T66 wheel with just a cover and wheel change... On the exhuast side, I wouldn't go any less than a 1.0 divided p trim...
