![Question](https://www.rx7club.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I have a chance to get my hands on a GReddy TD06 kit for about a grand and it sounds like a good stop gap until I can swing for the GT3540 kit. The center section is oil cooled only, but many Japanese tuners use the TD06-25G on their cars and make about 400 at the rear wheels. Any opinions on this turbo? How does it compare to say a T04E in terms of efficiency and compressor size? How about the exhaust side, free flowing or fairly restrictive? Thanks in advance.

Mitsubishi turbos, in general, are not as efficient as Garrett designs.  All this means is that you need to run more boost to produce the same amount of power compared to a similiarly sized Garrett.

I guess my question really should be centered around whether or not it would be worth it to upgrade to this turbo given my current setup, boost response, and hp level. Am I only going to gain 10hp (I'm 340rwhp now) and loose by low end boost response? Will it broaden and raise my torque spread/level?

I have the Greddy TD06 turbo on my car for over 2 years now and I am happy with it, I had a recent dynoed at 387rwhp @ 14psi with a new street port with 2mm hurley seals done by KD Rotary with the Apexi PC ecu for tuning. I recommend this turbo if you are street racing spools up quickly.

7hvn can you post a diagram of your vacum hoses for me? I would like to know where the hoses attached to. For example, from the greddt wastegate to the boost control(or sensor) to the stock sensor and intake or intake manifold. Any info would be great!
