Go to your local welder and have a dump tube made. It shouldn't cost you more than $30. Whats the rest of your set up?

run it open, I heard that if you run the dump tube into the downpipe incorrectly, you will lose horsepower. It also increases backpressure

Plumb your wastegate back to the DP. It will be very loud if you don't!

so what? It's only loud if you are on boost. Besides, it sounds bad ***.

The look of unsuspecting muscle cars getting wasted as you blow pass them is priceless!

Back in the early 90's in japan, everybody was running them open...that was the style.

IMO if you run an open WG you are asking for trouble from your hometown law enforcement. If you have a track only car then I say leave it open.

I had a muffler on my WG, it was a Briggs and Stratton lawnmower muffler. I went through 4 of them before I decided to go wide open. The Briggs muffler did make it very quiet but it basically would just melt or completely blow up and or off. I will post a pic sometme cause it is very amusing.
