single reliability

ive had my single setup for 6 or 7 years and it is by far more reliable than the twins. the absence of vac leaks alone makes it worth it.

Xcentric..how does that air to water intercooler work for you? what are your intake temps like? does it get heat soaked in traffic?

Figures that I find this out after I already replaced all my sleeving I'll just see how my current stuff hold up.

Btw, in case the link doesnt work, go to summitracing.com and search for 'DEI fire sleeves'

Use the 1 inch for the heater hoses, the 5/8th for the turbo coolant feed and return, and the 3/8th for assorted smaller vacuum/wastegate lines.
Why don't you guys just use steel braided lines? That is what we use on all our single turbos here in okinawa.

The foam is a poor boy seal - plan is to replace with an aluminum cover soon.

As for the intake temps in traffic- stable b/c After the inter cooler I have an 18
wheeler oil cooler acting as a heat exchanger to shed off heat. The cool thing
is I can load that black reservoir with ice an have 70 degrees F intake temps
on a 100 degree day. I can also shut off the main fuel tank pump an run c16
only from the 5 gallon cell. This set up has solved all my fuel feed problems.
It ain't real perty but man does it work!
