Single for drifting? (quick spool)
I'm in the middle of going single, but can't make a decision on what turbo to go for. I want something that will spool quick (spool from 3000/3500rpm) and deliver around around 400fwhp/350whp? Also not currently sh!tt!ng money so a genuine Garret isn't an option.
Car: 1992 FD3S
Engine: Stock Port
EMS: Apexi PFC
Fueling: Bosch 044, 550cc primar & 1680cc Bosch injectors
Exhaust: HKS T4 divided Cast manifold & wastegate, 3" v-Band downpipe.
Cheers

With the T4 divided .84
wouldn't you have to run a fair amount of boost to make mid 400?
what would be the spool deffarnace compared to a 6266?
I'm looking for a turbo for mostly auto cross and road course setup but wanted mid 400-500 but fast spool as well. thought I seen happy boost level was 15-20psi on e85?

I am in the middle of going single and I autox and went with a small turbo to help spool up quick. I went with a Turbonetics GTK 350 billet wheel with duel ball bearing with the blow off valve and waste gate for it. All Brand new for $1,058 shipped to the door. I am only wanting about 300 to 350 HP not wanting to much power to roast tires.
