Hello. I swear I have an exhaust leak somewhere between my engine and my t04s that I can hear, I just can't seem to find it. Is there any tips or tricks you guys have to find super ninja exhaust leaks?

I was thinking about doing what I do to find vac leaks: Wait for the exhaust to cool then spray it with soapy water, and then use my air compressor to pressurize the exhaust from the muffler. Does anybody see any reasons why this wouldn't work?

you could use a garden hose and pressureize it from the muffler that way, it worked for me finding intake leaks... but I shoved the pipe down the other end

Just start the motor up cold and move your hands over every possible spot. You will have a little bit of time before its too hot to feel every area. Easiest way to do it..

Spray mist of water on every connection to see if it bubbles?

Squirt some oil into the combustion chamber and partially plug the exhaust outlet.

have a buddy hold a towel over the muffler with his foot while you look for leaks. works everytime

Idle the motor. Use a rag or a thick glove to close off the tail pipe and listen for puffing sound. I have done this many times and can judge the size of the leak by the backpressure against my hand over the tailpipe.
I have heard of shaking a feather duster covered in talcum powder along the exhaust system. The bypassed air will blow the dust making the leak visible.

let the engine suck up some ATF.. it'll smoke like a SOB.. u can spot the smoke leaking out

If you want to do it with the car off you can implement some dry ice and a small vac set on reverse. It will push the mist into the exhaust and come out the leak. The quickest and simplest way is to just put the car up on a lift or jack stands and feel for the exhaust air pushing out.

I'm going to try the ATF trick, personally. I have that same problem. It's pissing me off >_>

Not to mention, my passengers get smoked out while not moving

Get a long screwdriver or a peice of wire, tape a thin piece of paper/tissue to the end and l hoover paper end close to all possible areas, the paper will flutter where ever the leak is.
