Rx7store GT40r kit.

I'm interested in this kit http://www.rx7store.net/product_p/gt40r%20kit.htm
Just wondering is anyone else is using it? I will be using this on a large street ported 13b-re swapped fc. Is fitment tight with the fc engine bay? Is it a quality turbo manifold? I have heard good things about the gt35r kit they sell. Seams worth it considering the turbo its self is $1800

I am running this kit and I love it. Made awesome power on my full bridge-ported motor. See sig.

If Dee was trying to answer your specific question about quality, What I took from his post above was that he is happy with the quality of the manifold. If you've heard good things about their other kits, I'd have some confidence in their overall quality. Back to Dee's comment, since he has an FD, and didn't otherwise comment specifically on fitment with the FC engine bay, you cannot assume anything there. I would call Jason at the RX7 Store and ask him if it'll fit in an FC engine bay. He would know, and he would not bullshit you about this. Do it right the first time and massively upgrade all your intercooling and fuel and ignition and exhaust components to take full advantage of this turbo's power making potential. If you don't plan to make 450+ whp, I'd just stick with the gt35r kit.

Oh yeah, sorry to not note that. I cannot vouch for the FC kit, but assuming that it is mostly like mine, I would think that you'd be happy.
