RX6 or TD06-07 25G????

I'm looking for a turbo for road racing and street. A lot of people seem to like the rx6 kit, but I called RE amemiya and FEED in japan and they both recommend the greddy TD06 25G (not sold in US) Does anyone have it? Does anyone have their single turbo tuned for 91 octane?? What is a good setup for a single?

I have not seen the Greddy TD06-25G. I haven't seen many road racing single turbos. I have seen drag racing single turbo FD's from Japan and the majority seem to run T88's.
My single RX6 is setup to use 89 AKI octane at 15 psi.

In terms of setup, I guess it depends on your porting, octane used, street vs track time, boost levels you plan on using....

Get the 25-g turbo!
It's equal in size and performance as a 60-1 or 62-1 turbo. The 25-g is also a quicker spooling turbo. They were once readily available from most turbo shops that are Mitsubishi turbo dealers but they have become a little difficult to obtain lately. Check with some of the Eclipse and Buick Grand National performance shops!

If you are gonna get a 25g get the T67-25g because it has more midrange/top end than the normal TD06-25g. The T67 is a Hybrid TD07/TD06...

Igy ran a TD06-19C and 20G on his FD when he first got it so might want to send him an IM.

Pic of a T67! The ex housing is only an 8cm because this is for an SR20DET but it can be easily replaced with 12cm or 14cm housing for use on a rotary!

The 25-G turbo I was speaking about that Greg mention above that MIC sells comes with a turbine wheel about the same size as the Garrett P-trim and also on the rotary you would run the 16 cm or bigger turbine housing with that turbo. Actually the turbine housing will bolt directly to any manifold with a T04 design exhaust flange!
Give MIC a call because they have the turbo in stock. I've also seen them modifiy the 25-G to a T-78!

I know TDO7/T78/T88 turbos have the same flange as T4 Garretts because I have an HKS FC mani that is for TDO7/T78/T88 or T04. The T67 is a Greddy custom built hybrid. Here's some pics of a TD07S-25G with a 14cm housing.. enjoy
