R85 Wait

Is anyone else waiting on r85 kit from KG? I ordered it thru Jason @ rx7store in october but have been getting nothing but problems. It's not Jasons, nor KG's fault though cause the company that KG sources the turbos from apparently has been dicking him around on the wait for the turbo.

Anyone else have this problem as well?

I must have gotten mine just before you as I ordered mine in late Sept/early Oct. and my car is finally back together.

Hopefully you'll get it soon. It's a nice piece, KD commented to me how nice it was.

Best of luck to you though. Keith will get it out to you as soon as possible, I'm sure. Great guy to deal with.

Keith is a great guy... I have ordered numerous things through him, and he is always prompt with his shipping. I have nothing bad that I can even think of him, I am sure, its not his fault. He is definetly a STAND UP GUY!!!!

no i totally agree. I recieved the fuel rails from jason (made by KG) and he also told Jason that he has the rest of the kit fully made and ready, but the company that makes KG the turbo is dicking him around on release time so its their fault.

My car is finally sitting in my driveway and although I haven't pushed it hard at all yet, I can tell you from the few times I've boosted it, this turbo comes on hard and fast. I was expecting to have a good amount of lag due to the size but this thing surprised me in how fast it spools up, Skip at KD said the same thing.

So althought waiting sucks, I can personally tell you this turbo is worth the wait.

So are you saying it doesn't start off life as a borg warner?

TEC puts the turbo together using some borg parts.

People like you amaze me. You don't even have a clue, yet you spread mis-information at whim.
