Question about HKS Wastegate and Profec B spec II
Alright guys and girls,
I have spent hours doing research on this subject and I came up with more questions. So hopefully someone here can help me.:
I have an HKS 40 MM gate, and a Profec B spec II EBC. Right now, I have the "NO" port hooked up to pressure, and the "COM" going to the side port on the HKS wastegate.
From my research, this is NOT the correct way, however if I hook up the "NC" port on the Spec II, and dont block the other hole, I get a vac leak. Does the "NO" port need to be blocked in this configuration?
Secondly, I have discovered that the side port is supposed to be connected directly to the intake, and the top port is for the boost controller. I assume this is the correct way? Right now my boost is nearly uncontrollable.
Any help is greatly appreciated!

It is hooked up wrong. Follow the instructions (page 10): http://greddy.com/tech/PROFEC_B_SPEC2.pdf

you can do it either way, the proper way of doing this is to hook up in external wastegate plumbing. This is a fail safe method in case the control line gets busted or pop off doing a pull.
if you install it in the actuator mode, it'll overboost if the line pops out.
