Open wastegate = hot tranny???

Yeah I love the terror that the open wastegate creates. I've had people swerve off the road partially onto the shoulder to get out of the way when I go by!

Yeah, weaklink, my mounts are from Rotorsports Racing. I had him put them in when he did my engine, so excuse me if this is stupid, but I was under the impression they were solid urethane??? I think only the stock mounts are oil-filled.

I have the same problem... mine console only gets hot on the drivers side kind of... I do have a hi-flow cat with my single and my wastegate is going all the way to the side of the car with the special made pipe and it still gets hot... I'll check the fluid again, but it could be the hi-flow getting hot too or maybe that rubber sealer that is supposed to keep the heat down let go or something.....

my tranny gets hot as well...WG plumbing runs under the gear box, back into the DP. I just changed the fluid two nights ago. Same thing...I think its time for a tranny rebuild...when I gather the courage.
