Well everyone else is sharing lately, so I'll add to the turbo fest as well.
Everything is all buttoned up just need to get it down to Chris at Banzai Racing for the tune.

Where did you get the To4Z from? Sure its not just a BB to4R with a bullet style antisurge compressor housing?

Thanks,
I 've been around the block more than once.

Rotaries should use a non surge cover on TO4Z
The TO4Z's i use and specify have no surge holes, these reduce spool rate, they reduce PR te tubo can produce, they reduce efficiency, they are bad news all round.
They were only ever created to increase map width when use with a small turbine and use on a small displacement engine that suffers from compressor surging under throttle at low RPM (too much boost pressure and not enough corresponding flow rate).
If you want more data from another field go onto supraforums.com and look at the anti surge delete they do for GT42 and GT47's ect & note the decreases in spool time and also inproved turbocharger performance (ultimate flow and also peak boost).

We tuned it today and surge holes or not it was FAST. Night and day difference from my last setup. As always Chris at Banzai Racing was awesome. I will try and dyno the car very soon. Low boost 15psi high 25 psi should be interesting to see what kinda numbers I get.

After 20psi it got interesting all the way till 25psi we started blowing off vacuum lines, and then a coupler let go. After the tune I drove it 3 hours home smiling all the way.

I turn up to someone event now and look for things that will pop off its not sufficient to have vacum hoses on straight barbs especialy after they have been sitting for a while in a road car. Just becomes second nature when your running your street car around at 25, 30 or 36psi ! to find these failure points of connections that were never ever intended to see that much pressure over stock
seeing a customer smile when he experiences 20++psi is what its all about, i think any single turbo owner who does not run this boost at minimum should be banned?

wow Im gonna get banned for not running 20 psi haha
We in the UK **** ourselves if we run more then 1 BAR on a single
Finished the AQ WI installation on my T04Z Half bridge single install, flowing about 400cc of water scaled to my injector duty, pulled out a lot of fuel and running 17psi now the car is toooo fast for the road feels about 500rwhp will know when it hits the dynopack next week.
Will have to grow some ***** and venture into the 20psi zone so I wont get banned haha

^ thats great news
you will get used to the power & 20odd psi is where life begins, in fact make it a nice 1.5bar 22psi haha this is what i force all my end users on and they dont hear the end of it till they finaly turn it up.
Sounds like your reaching your limits of adhesion soon anyway, I know what that feels like in a half bridge T51 with water at 20.6psi its scary !!!
