idk do a search about it. i think its recommended not to mix because the different ratios can make tuning difficult. i think the meth would be better based on a few of the articles i read, but i don't personally run aux inj so my opinion is of little value.

so does that mean u could blow ur engine from hitting the rev limtier?

And ive been looking around a little bit more and it seems like people are making around 415 whp at 14.5 pounds on this turbo. so at 16 pounds with meth could i be at 450 whp? with a decent tune that is. and i havent ordered the turbo yet..... should i look into going a lil bigger... maybe a s366

i think that turbo is a good size. if you start going much bigger you will have more lag and it wont be much good on the street. any 400+ HP car is going to be a monster on the street and the track. anymore power then that and you will start having alot more traction problems. and no i dont think at 16 psi you will quite be at 450. maybe 430 or so with a good tune. the meth kit doesnt add power it just reduces the chances of detonation, and allows you to run more boost. Thats provided your ignition system is up to the task.

Really you should be able to run 15- 16 psi without the meth kit. So if you choose to run the meth maybe you should look into running 19 psi or so. Maybe even on a smaller turbo, something like a gt35. Then you will be well into the upper 400's with a very responsive turbo.

You have to decide what the car is to you and what you want it to do. once into mid 400 and above if you plan on drag racing you will need to look into differential upgrades, suspension, tires, axels, solid mounts etc. all of which will reduce the overall comfort for street use.

actually 430 might be a little optimistic with stock ports at 16 psi. It might be possible, though it seems a bit of a high number for stock ports. street porting adds a big difference. Were the numbers you found on rotaries with street ports?

i cant find that freakin post. Someone was wanting 400 whp and someone else told him a s362 would do it on 14 pounds. and two guys posted on there they put down like 420 on 1 bar.

But i guess ill shoot for 400 then. and im sure once i blow my engine ( cause everyone told me im going to) ill plan on a street port and more boost.

Its really not going to be a track car. Im sure ill take it once or twice. But mostly a toy that i can have some fun in. And im not looking for outragous power. But i just want it to not blow up ( and i know i should keep it stock if i wanted that) but i want the most hp and be safe

Can you run more than 16 pounds with stock engine if you havemeth and still not be a time bomb.

Yes the meth will have the same benefits of keeping detonation down regardless of the ports. Just make sure you get it all tuned safely and by someone that knows what they are doing. Or start doing your home work and learn what needs to be done to tune it yourself. Chuck's tuning notes are very helpful and there is a host of information out there on this forum and through google search.

I've been through most of it. Between doing all the work and tuning myself and having pretty much any problem imaginable i've learned alot. And i try to stay updated by reading all the new threads. I've never messed with the meth injection but just payed attention when there were discussions regarding it. It's a fun hobby and there's always more to learn. Sometimes the hard way, but learn none the less
