Talking Looks Great !

Hi Roy, glad you got the fuel gremlins chased away.

Looking at run .017, she looks a little sleepy between 4 and 5, but boy does she roll over and make wooopie at 5k woooo hooo (that's southern for, " happy man!")

That's a good 2500 rmp of 300+ TQ, and torque wins races. Got a victims list yet?

I assume you're hosing her down with the Akwamister. If so, I'll need to chat with you about that. Buy me dinner sometime

Nice goin'. You've certainly earned it.

Fastest rotary in ATL? ??

Maybe... except for that, Downing fella.

Congrats!
Steve C.

Interesting..You hear the T-78 lags so bad down low but compare Roy's dyno graph to this stock set of twins on a ported motor ...

Using the 17psi graph, and the stock twins with cat (figured more people NOT running a mid-pipe), I made it a little easier to compare

hmmm...I have seen that plot before and something seems strange about it.

FYI, I have MUCH more low-end torque than Roy's car. With just a downpipe and cat-back, I dynoed at 200 ft-lbs by 3000 rpm, jumping up to 225 at the transition. His dyno plot shows 125 ft-lbs at 3000 rpm and he doesn't make 200 ft-lbs til 4000 rpm.

I think that DOES illustrate that the T-78 lags pretty bad down low. Of course, above 4000 rpm, he's screaming!

Click on my dyno chart @ .83bar, making 337RWHP in my sig/link. I have a torque monster, making 225 by 3000rpm'ish.

baddog,
just looked at your datalog, what's w/ the huge rise in knock between 5-6k? is it just engine noise or is it really knock?
