My Dyno results...FINALLY!
Here are the graphs of my tuning session October 26, 2002:
This graph shows my horsepower being achieved at a 12:1 air/fuel ratio at 17 psi. We wanted 11.4:1 under boost, so fuel was added. Notice in the graph how the run was halted well before redline. 460-470 rwhp was expected here if the run had continued.
Here is a graph at 1 bar of boost (14.7 psi).
Here is a graph at 17 psi - what I run on the street.

They are some nice numbers! I'm still amazed that even with a large turbo and street porting, the power drops off at around 7300 rpms. I would think it would build power till at least 7500 rpms.

More importantly Roy, share the logged session that goes with some of those runs (Datalogit log files). If you want some pretty graphs whiped up, I can do that and post them here.
And, unless you're running a 3-bar sensor, I think you might have been at less than 17psi according to the PFC. The data logs will show your boost. I am guessing you might have been at 16.8psi (most I every saw out of the standard 1.5bar sensor).

Your first graph shows 17 psi (456) then your last graph shows 17 psi (439)..?
Nice numbers, Roy! Question....why is it that all the american turbo companies bash the T-78 and claim the T-66 is so much better? Has anyone actually seen a T-66 put down similar or better numbers?

Re: My Dyno results...FINALLY!
Looks good Roy,
from looking at your first graph, it seems like you were running too rich in mid range and then at around 6.3krpm, it was running a little lean which (i think) causing your timing retard. Correct me if I'm wrong but i think your timing is a little advanced for 17psi at the higher rpm. on a side note, I think you were using a wideband at the exhaust pipe? becareful on that map, you'll run leaner when you are actually on the road.

My timing maps came from Scott at www.rx7.com (Ari's shop).
