Whats the most power any of you have seen/heard of with a RB dual tip catback or the one from Pettit which I hear is exactly the same.

I dont know for sure but I have it and going to do a Gt35/40 install soon...shooting for a little over 400 so we'll see if the RB duals will allow that.

I'm not so sure about that. I'm starting to wonder if it becomes a big restriction once you get over 400rwhp. I think on my next dyno session I'm going to unbolt it and see what difference it makes but I was hoping someone has already done similar or that someone might have made close to 500rw with one.

i know if flows well, i'm just wondering how well, my dual n1 flowed tons, but loud as hell. and my tanabe is quieter, but still flows plenty.
i just want an exhaust as quiet as i can get it, without affecting power. i'm mid 400's now and getting tuned for more boost next week. i've seen on the dyno what exhaust restriction can do and am trying not to make it a limiting factor. but....i'd live with 15-20hp less to get it quiet.

What kind of setup was this on? How much boost?
What I'm trying to figure out is eventhough you made 492 would it have made a lot more with a different cat back?

You talking about that ignition break up spike that caused his HP to jump 20rw before plumiting down 50rw? lol
I think his "solid" numbers were more like 425-430rwhp which is what I've seen from other people running that cat back......for all the others I've personally seen I felt they should have been making another 20 or so at the wheels. Thats why I'm asking, I have a feeling the RB catback is restricting.
Might be wrong though if Lethal RX7 is making 492rw

You know years ago, I remember reading about how somone did a back to back dyno with a n1 dual tip vs. the single tip. The n1 made something like 450rwhp, and the RB dual tip was something like 25rwhp less. Don't qoute me on this or anything....but I remember reading something like this. Sorry for being so vague. CJ
