Mixing pump gas and VP C12 Race full Question
What should the mix ratio be if mixing 93 Oct pump gas with Vp c12. On high boost im running 18lbs of boost my mod list follows.
Greedy T-78 Turbo
1600cc Injectors
Apex-I Power Commander and FC
TurboXS Type-H BOV
Greedy Profec B-spec Boost controller
Apex Front mount intercooler
Bonex 6 disk performance clutch
Fluidyne Radiator
Jacob’s FC1000 ProPak Ignition

VP C12 is 108 octane.
The final octane ratio you want will determine the mixture rate.
(92X + 108Y) / (X + Y) = final octane
92*1 + 108*1 / 2 = 200 / 2 = 100 octane for running half and half.
Your question should have been what octane do I need to run 18 psi boost?

So what octane would allow me to run 20-22 psi? when does full on race gas become a necesity?

i would say at 20-22, i would recommend around 100 plus octane... so i would mix the two at about a 50/50 ratio... A much cheaper solution would be to run water/methanol injection though...

What octane is needed for what boost level and how much timing change is needed for the higher octane gas?
I don't remember ever seening this type of information posted.
