manifold to turbo gasket

if i have a divided turbine housing and divided flange on the manifold(T4) does it matter if the gasket is just one big opening or does it need to be divided? if it needs to be divided, where can i get one? to me it makes more sense to be divided so that the gases dont cross paths.

thanks

I went from no gasket to a open gasket, no noticable difference.
