Is there anyway to maybe stick a fan in back of the fmic so it blows cooler air to the radiator as well as just getting normal airflow? might sound crazy but i dont know.

IMO to get the most out of the vmount set ups u have to have a vented hood. air passing over the hood helps "pull" air thru the intercooler for maximum cooling. another nice thing about the vmounts is shorter piping lengths which make your turbo system more efficient in regards to spoolup and pressurizing your piping/cooler system. as well as very minimal pressure drop. lastly with the vmic u get airflow directly to your radiator. but the trade off is with a vmount u dont get as much cfm moving thru the turbo system due to the limited sizes of your typical vmount setups.

now on the other hand a fmic can move lots of cfm depending on how big u go. there are some issues with it blocking the radiator. itll will cut off some airflow but a pusher fan on your radiator with it set to pull air thru your radiator usually fixes that.

all in all its a cost issue. its cheaper to get a fmic to work very well than it would to get a vmount to do the same.

I am currently getting parts together to build a V mount, I got pulleys too for getting rid of the air pump what size is the alt belt needed?

sorry not trying to hijack.
