Yep, and if he ever has to replace the turbo he's looking at $3,000.

i agree, might want a little more fuel to be on the safe side, because these turbo's don't start getting efficient until around 20psi. i have 1000pri and 1600sec and an A1000 fuel pump, mine is only tuned for 16psi right now, it is still freakin' fast though....i can't wait to turn it up.

you should let Jason tune it for you, he should be able to use some of my runs and tune it pretty well.

Race gas is awesome ****, but it's completely unacceptable in financial terms for a car that is driven on the street. $8.00 a gal. to cruise around - f*ck that.

There are more than a few tested/proven/reliable water-alcohol injection kits on the market. For the amount of money you would spend on race gas in 2 months you could purchase a full kit. Pump gas + 50 50 water-methanol = high boost for a lot less money.

Then there is always ethanol. $2.00 a gal, almost as good as race gas, BUT you need a massive fuel system..

Race gas or not that is a killer setup, the T51R sounds amazing. congratulations and good luck with it!

Ya we should meet up sometime. Not for sure on some one wanting one at the time. There is a complete stock 93 yellow mica in town that just sitting in someone’s garage. around 50,000 miles I think. Got taken to jail. tax even. They would sell it to.

I have not done anything else on the car as i have been deer hunting. I am fixing to leav tonight and drive to iowa and stay for a week to do some phesant hunting. When i get back i hope the blitz intercooler, and wastegate flange is in.

Hmm I got in about a week or two. when I ordered it from rx7store I believe it was the last one they had. If I am not mistaken he told me it take them awhile for them to ship to the us. But I am not positive. If the place you ordered it form had it in stock it shouldn’t take long at all to get it.

the engine wasn’t to hard to pull took some time. putting it back in was a little harder. At first I put in some 99 spec turbos the vacuum lines was the hardest.

On the power steering line it comes with new piping to re rout that.

And everyone saying that 18 year olds cant drive I have had 3 cars and haven’t had a wreck yet. I live out in the middle of no were and have been driving all my life. I grew up in a farm driving tractors to hay trucks. I have had a 1986 chevy with a built 454 at the age of 15. then I traded it for a mits 3k vr4 slightly moded. I now have the truck back and the rex. I also race dirt bikes I have 03 Honda CRF 450. I cant say I haven’t wrecked it. yes I am not going to say that it is not possible for me to wreck as I do not think I am invincible. I just believe that if you respect what you drive then you are a lot better of. I do believe that driving does come with age. I also do not believe that you can not let a 12yr old learn to drive. If people say that the older you get the better you drive then why not start a kid off at a young age so when he turns 16 he will have a little experience. I am not saying to do this in huge cities but it would not hurt anything for a kid to drive on gravel roads and such. This is just my opinion.

the only reason why older people dont get into accidents as much is because some of them never drive the car like its suppose to be driven, or they dont drive it as much as we do. its a car, its purpose is meant to be driven. im sure if i drove 1000 miles a year, i would have a better chance not to get into an accident

keep the pics coming
