Question Injector driver

I was doing some searching on injector drivers and after read a few post by howard colman from a few years back. I was wondering if the forum could answer a few questions that still remain for me.

1. I read in one post that the injector driver only needs to be installed on the secondary injectors. However my primary injectors should be 550 Siemens which I believe are P&H injectors and my secondaries are Bosch 1600 P&H for sure. Question is, do I run the injector driver on the primaries too or should I get different injector?

2. Just so I understand; runner the FJO or AEM injector driver means I can remove all for resisters on my injector connectors?

3. I can't seem to find the FJO injector driver on the internet or at least a site that sells then, but I did find one that sells the AEM one. Would you recommend the AEM or should I keep looking for the FJO?

Respectfully,
Patrick

1. Check to find out for sure if your primaries are low impedence, if they are, use an injector driver for the primaries as well. Are you using an ECU that requires high impedence injectors?

2. Correct, when you install the injector driver, you'll have no need for the resistors.

3. The FJO driver has been discontinued and hard to find new. The AEM one does the same thing but can be used on up to 10 injectors as opposed to 4 and is a little bit pricier.

I am using the Power FC for my ECU.

Thanks for the answers, it really helped out

You could also change your injectors to Injector Dynamics injectors which are high impedance and then sell your old injectors.

I had the FJO box as well and removed it when I upgraded to Injector Dynamics injectors (1000cc/2000cc). Either way your going to have to retune it in case you did not know.

Question injector driver install question

I just have one last question. I order the AEM injector driver and the instructions look pretty straight forward. I understand that the injector trigger wires gets spliced into coming from the ECU to the AEM module and gets spliced back out to the injector while leaving the 12v power wire alone. As you already know, injectors have two prongs in them. Question is, is there a certain side of the injector the trigger wire needs to be installed on or does it not matter. Sorry if this sound confusion. It confuses me typing it.
