If I buy the greddy td06-20g kit 4 my 87 tII can I upgrade the turbo later?

I would like to know if I buy the Greddy Td06 kit will the t78 turbo fit the exhaust manifold and if not what would my options be. I dont want to invest money in a kit that is not upgradeable if I desire more power in the future. If its a major ordeal I might go try something else.

the td-06/25g is way to small. Get a beeeger one. I would recamend a gt series like the GT35/40, and don't be cheep on this mod. The GT's will out last your motor twice and then some.

i thought it was the td06-20g, i think you mixed that up with the td07-25g. the latter is bigger than a t78. i dunno

Yes the td06-20g is on the small side but my motor is stock for the time being. Yes I realize the difference in size between a t78 and td06 that is why I was wondering if I could upgrade from a td06 to a t78 down the road once I get my motor built. As far as the gt turbo I bet it great until you loose a apex seal and You have to have the BB turbo rebuilt( 900 a pop give or take). Still waiting on a answer to my question.

what i was saying is that there's a difference between the td07 and the td06. the td06 will probably be good for 400rwhp, and 11's in the 1/4. a t04e/s/b will also see simliar power, with the t04e being the biggest of the three. you'll probably need to get your motor built (i.e. fuel system, ignition, computer etc.) but not as much as with a t78 unless you plan to run about 10-12lbs and piggyback the thing. but to attempt to answer your question through sheer logic, (because i don't know the exact specs on the exhaust manifold mounting size and the like) i doubt that a T78 would match up to the manifold of a TD06, simply because it's that much bigger. i'm sorry i can't help you any more, but that's what i got.

20g is the exhaust housing size...I've seen FD's here with stock motor, td-06/25G and 1.0 kg/cm2 boost with appx. ~375 rwhp. Owner said it felt like a supercharger it boosted so fast....
