Arrow I need some feed back... What turbo should I get???

Ok, I have been running my T04E for about 4 years now and I like it. I'm now getting some blow by and it’s getting some shaft play so I am getting a new turbo. I am running the full HKS kit. Cast manifold, 3in down pipe.. ETC.. So I want to get a bolt on turbo but I can’t decide what one to get. Here are my choices: T04R, T04Z, T62-1, T66, GT35/40R, GT35R.

That all depends on what you want out of the car power wise, the use of the car( daily driver, weekend street car, drag car, autoX etc) and of course how much " lag" you can put up with...

The T04Z/T04R are reliable but old technology. Not the quickest spooling but make nice power. Depending on the power, I would go with a Precision billet turbo. How much power do you want and what kind of use does the car get?

Well I have been running the T04E for about 4 years now and I am happy with it. I want to set it up though. I would be running about 15 to 18 psi. This car is my weekend driver with the occasional 1/4 mile track day. As now it is pretty much fully built half bridge. All the supporting mods. I just can't make up my mind. Right now this turbo has a big of lag but not much. As you can see these turbos that I have mentioned are not a huge upgrade. I just check my slop of the turbo and it has some shaft play so the time is here to upgrade. I was thinking about ball bearing but it doesn't need to be. I will be happy with the car no matter what. I do have a line on a T62-1 that is at a good price. I just can't make up my mind.

My buddy just bought the new TC66 from Tnetics for his build, and wow, it spools up stupid fast and makes great power. Definitely a nice turbo for the $$$
