How to tell if your engine is blown

I think I blew my engine but I am not sure, I need to do a compression test. The engine has a streep port job. I am only getting 5 in hg at idle and very hard to start but the car will boost normal and it is producing alot of torque and boost when I get on it better than before.
How can I determine if my engine is blown? Can it be a lose intake or the engine pulling air from someplace?

Sounds like you have a hose off... check your map sensor hose.

how is the idle?

The idle is at 800-900 rpms but the vacuum is at 5 inhg and hard to start.

Its seems like it is pulling air from someplace.

its real simple to see if you blew the motor. you take out the fuel pump relay and 1 trailing spark plug and have someone try to start the motor. youll hear the rotor cycling around and if you dont hear 3 even sounds then somethings wrong. do it once for the rear and again for the front
