HKS wastegate parts

Anyone know who or where I can buy the valve seat to the HKS racing wastegate? I havn't seen ayone that sells it. I've looked through almost all of the dealers websites.

HKS discontinued that racegate, most likely because of the relentless flood of cheap chinese knockoffs. I'm betting even if you could purchase it from hks it would be cheaper to buy a clone off of ebay for the valve seat plate.

Oh, I didn't know they discontinued it. But why would dealers sell the flanges for it but not the valve seat?

HKS still lists the flanges for the racegate in the USA site. So you should still be able to pick one up hopefully.

Or you can pick up a whole clone for $50 bones and have the pleasure of drop kicking the rest of the wastegate into outer space.

And if you are really nervous about the eBay version, the only bad thing I have ever heard about them relates to a diaphragm breaking. Buy an HKS diaphragm, it's a direct fit and costs about $85 from most dealers. Total cost = $135 including wg.

FWIW I have an eBay knockoff wastegate on my bridgeport race motor, we put it through a hell of a beating both on the dyno and the track and nothing has broken yet. Below video shows very advanced ignition timing with an open dump coming from the eBay wg:

Well I finally found the part. Just took a little searching. The guy I bought the wastegate from said hes never seen that part before. I guess thats why he sold it. Probably never built up boost.
