authentic HKS turbos are so expensive.... I think their T04S is like $1500 US or something and you can get a regular garret for $1000 or less

You can get a 42RS in a smaller compressor package too just like the HKS unit...

HKS has a tendency to have some sealing problems. the garrett GT series is a great line of turbos, so that is my vote.

I'm running the 1.15 on my car and the car spools faster than the .85 I had. The 1.15 will also give you more top end power b/c of the better flow.

Made a mistake, the S480 Bullseye Turbo with Race Cover and 5 inch Downpipe Kit is $825, not $899.

You having problems with them? I know I speak to a few overseas guys that deal with a company called Subzero and they built/build some awesome cars, but the S480's all were grenading quickly and swapped back to GT units and no problems.

Also the turbo you have is a internally gated GT42 journal used on a Detriot Diesel. Unit is kind of slow spooling and check the turbine wheel cause they offered 3 different ones ranging from 74mm turbine up to the 82mm S-trim turbine.
