Don't let Enzo give you any bright ideas! Put the stock setup back on. It's way better!

Just install a setup like this one Anthony. it's an old jaytech set up or just go with a gato performance intake.

No forking way!!!!!

Dude, these guys copied the E&J setup down to every nut & bolt

Roan you should be ashamed of yourself for buying this crap, even if it was cheaper than the E&J unit...
I'm sure if you had called Edgar and explain the situation he would have taken care of you... I saw tons of E&J combos in PR last weekend, and that's what I'll be running in the Rx3 regardless of price...

I rather spend a few dollars more to keep my friends & good name, than to ship by money overseas to a company that don't deserve it. Plus, if you have a problem who you gonna call?? Ghost Busters?? At least with the E&J part, you can call Edgar anytime you have a question or concern

Also by supporting these "pirates", you take money away from the US guys and eventually they have to close their doors or cut back on R&D... Do you wanna see that? then cancel that mudda **** order!!!

anthony, that **** does look good in there.

aron, you guys really got me feeling bad man. we was on the third bottle of black when i made that post. i have talked to edgar a few times about his tb and think its a nice peice.

for the record I am not putting a 4 barrel style tb from any company on my strret car. i was placing an order with rohan for some other stuff and he mentioned these tb's to me and offered me a good price on them. a friend of mine was intrested and it was ordered for him. I am not promoting them, i have not seen one in person yet, and i did not go looking for a 'cheap' E&J alternative. it kinda fell in my lap.

i see where you guys are comming from tho, i didn't mean to create no waves, my bad

That piece of **** is an accident waiting to happen. My 8yr old could have make something of better quality. Thats a fire hazard waiting to happen. Seen it burn Dee's FD to the ground. The casting sucks. There is no plenum. Its worthless.

That tells me it has done nothing for you. I put down 640rwhp at 20psi with a bone stock uim and throttle body. Take it off before you die in flames.

not on my car. and can you post a link to your dyno graph when you made this 640 at 20psi? im sure you did already i dont feel like searching. was that with the Gt42r? thats alot of power for only 20psi. what turbo were you using?

When I went full bridgeport it made 640ish at the wastegate spring. (20lb) Ray built and tuned another full bridge and it made more than mine at 20psi. It was with the 42R. I havn't switched turbos, yet...
In no way am I trying to rain on your parade. I seriously don't want to see anyone use that manifold after I have seen with my own two eyes what it can do.

I know what you mean ernie. But if you see a flaws all you have to do is reinforce it. Thats what we did. it doesn't look like the picture anymore, only slightly different. THe car made 632hp at 23 psi. It doens't have a gt42r it's smaller than a 42r. It's not brideport just a street port it has to be leaned out just alittle. The only thing that was bad with the original design was the screws that would hold down the injectors would rip out cause of it being so small.

The screws/studs were the problem for sure. That was the first thing I modified when I first used that setup. For me it did not make a difference in peak power over what I was using at the time and it lost low and midrange power. Most imortant was the track times slowed significantly. Most of the times the dyno don't paint the whole picture and real racers know that.
That was way back in the 90's and I was using the proven 4 barrel TB with the Jaytech lower intake. When Jay released the upper I was eager to try his setup but was not impressed with the results or the craftmanship. It did look pretty good though. Jay was aware of the short commings and the injector hold down bracket fastner problems. I still got that setup sitting around somewhere and quite often questions come up about it.

Their was a car in aus here that run 168mph on that power.

Your not running 168mph with 640rwhp unless your car weighs 1900lbs. My car is a full weight street car at 2880lbs with me in it. I did get a full clean pass finally w/ the stock tranny, but the motor was actually hurt and went 9.95@138mph. My highest is 149mph. I average 145mph

Just because you run "x" amount of horsepower on a dyno, doesn't mean your going to run "x" amount of time/mph on the track on every car. There are so many other variables that come into play.

Dave, what happened to your 3 rotor rx2?
