Look into Pierburg. Corky Bell told me that they are very highly regarded -- arguably better than the Bosch pumps. They have a screw drive model that puts out over 300 LPH at 5 Bar -- more than a Bosch -044 (which is what I'm using now). This baby's big. If I had to do it all over again, I think I'd go this route.

Here's mine, The Bosch sits in the cell, and the A1000 feeds the motor. No measurable pressure drop at 22 psi and 500+RWHP.

Nice setup. I went to a swirl pot, too. I didn't have / want to create room anywhere else, so I put mine in the fuel tank. I see yours promotes CCW flow -- did you buy it from down under? You can't use Southern Hemisphere swirl pots north of the equator .

Mine's on an FB, and it feeds an external -044 pump:

Actually my neighbor made it from SS sheet which he rolled into a cylinder and TIG welded. We made the piece to fit upright in the area were the jack would ordinarily be. Here are some pictures installed.

The last picture is the pump running

What was the battery voltage at under load, full boost, high rpm etc?
Didn't you say that Aeromotive was used?
That 'Eliminator' pump can handle a lot more power than you were planning on making. There is something obviously wrong with that particular pump. Send it back to Aeromotive and have it checked out.
My personal experience with BOSCH 44's on a rotary application are that they make the power on the dyno and on street applications but always drop the pressure on a 'TRUE' capable low 9 second 650hp application especially on the back half of the track where demand is greatest. That's my personal experience with them.

I plan on a over kill fuel system. Bought a new walbro couple of days ago to replace one that I broke. I went back to 2 walbros for now.....
Went to try the car out at the track tonight. I have bad luck!! LoL
Car took off like a rocket but when I went to shift into second .....nothing!
could not shift into any gears...Luckily a friend was there with his trailor.

I will never drive my car to the track again
It is time I get a trailor.... I blew my ACT extreme pressure plate it seems
its about 3 years old.... Going to try a "Zoom" clutch. A 1st gen ran 10.5 tonight
street car and uses a zoom clutch and says it the best he found and he has tried
ACT etc....

I'm going to use a surge tank. Inside the gas tank I'm going to have 2 walbros
one is going to feed the surge tank. 2 Bosch 044 will feed off the surge tank with
2 -6AN fuel lines going to the firewall. The other walbro is going to use the stock metal fuel line. I will buy a custom Y block that will have 3 -6AN male inlets and will have 2 -8AN male outlets which the 2 -8AN lines will feed the primary and secondary fuel rails individually and Tie into the fuel regulator with a -8AN return back into the surge tank, overflow back into the fuel tank.

Also NEVER buy the POS Optima Red Top battery SG@#^*@&#*&@&
damm thing never lasts.... I'm buying a deep cycle

My voltage with a newly rebuilt and modified FD alternator under full boost is 14.5V/14.7V
Yea the Fuel pump was used and weak from the start so it turns out. The only thing I do not like about the Aeromotives is they get too hot for a street driven car unless you spend another $300 on a controller

AMS did a test on 2 044 running at 80PSI fuel pressure with a static fuel pressure of 42PSI
and the Bosch's did 550LPH @ 13.5V. 2 walbro 255 HP intank results where 317lph

700 Liters per hour should be enough for my 650-700 rwhp goals..... I think

Awesome workmanship on the surge tank. Whenever I've welded thin SS, it warps on me. Yours looks straight.

Im running twin Bosch Pumps now. After researching a lot on it, they flow the most for any in tank pump. I'll post numbers later on them. I did use the dual Nipendenso's. They worked well, but my fuel pressure started to drop at 750ish to the wheels. I still have them, if any of you are interested. Two -6 feeds and one -6 return. They are ready to drop in with the whole assembly. Wired up too.

First attempt at the track last night I turned it down to 20PSI and the Walbros did fine AFR's where in the 10.4-10.5 at full boost. of course 4rth gear which did not get into is where the car builds the most demand , but pretty rich and the walbros did there job. I wanted to turn it on to 26-28 pounds and see what happens......Oh well

I'll be back and 35PSI next round on the Dyno

Ernie, can you post a picture of your twin setup for sale. I might pick it up. Oh and for anyone that's fuel thirsty I have a spare Aeromotive Eliminator pump that's brand new in one of my cabinets. Oh and I'll sell it

Consider this a Mini Blog lol

I droped off my car at a friends house not too far from the track last night.
This morning I got a fresh battery and went to drive the car home which is about a
good 25 mile drive. Luckily I can take toll roads 95% of the way there.
So I syncro shifted the car home with no use of the clutch pedal
I did step on it in 4rth and at 25PSI the car is Unreal fast and the AFR's still in the mid to 10.7 Air Fuel Ratio on my Plex wideband.....

WA Ernies Twin pumps...

I guess I am resurrecting this thread after a couple of months Hey Ernie, did you sell the pumps to someone already or do you still have them?
I am interested because I am very close ( 2 weeks ) to do a complete rebuild of my engine with a Large Streetport and I bought almost everything needed already but even though I got an Aeromotive Eliminator pump that I got really cheap, I am reading that they give some problems when you use them too much on the streets and thats were I am going to be using the car mostly.
Let me know please.

Well aeromotive has a solution to the external a1000. If you want to do a clean install and have a deep pocket book this is what you should use!
