I finally got the Apexi WG working properly. When I had the wg sent to the cermaic coating place they must have "misplaced" the valve guide if you can beleive it. There was a huge hole where the valve goes through the body and the bellows was doing nothing at all. I was boosting to over 20 psi without even getting on the throttle, thank goodness for the boost guage.

Anyways I have not had time to tune on the dyno but have entered a import Drag Warz event this weekend. The WG seems to be working great now but I am wondering where I should set the set screw on the bottom of the WG. I want a max boost of about 18 PSI, running very rich, with C 16 race fuel. Should I be adjusting the boost with the set screw first, then adjust with the EVC EZ? I just have ran out of time to play with it enough and would rather practice launching. Any quick suggestions?

 

the set screw on the wastegate should be all the way out!! lowest boost setting! the controller will do the work for ya, evc will hold rock solid boost also very reliable controller
