One can assume from the weight and the mph that my engine is making close to 580hp (flywheel).
Note that I think the factory Turbo II (Series 5) intake manifold is now becoming a restriction in my setup.

I posted some conversions to allow you to compare different dyno types in the single forum.
What did you crank out on the dyno dynamics ? Also what differences in power did you get in race trim v's street trim (filter, mufflers, pump gas etc) Just wondering wether I have to rip all this "stuff" of to get near you guys (LOL ..... I wish!)
Take it easy

I am aware of some of the "accepted" conversion factors, but to be honest I prefer to use the dyno as a tuning tool, or for a comparison (to prior runs) or a comparison between cars - but only same dyno, same conditions, same ramp rate, same day
The real dyno is weight + mph
I'll go find your post and make some further comments in there though I guess.

If I'd stayed in street trim and just bolted slicks on it could have potentially gone into the tens pretty easily I think (mph certainly indicates it anyway).
A mate of mine in Melbourne (Hi Lance ) ran an 11.0 @ 127mph or so in normal street trim (but with full slicks bolted on).
You have two options, go and run it as is to see how it runs "on the street". Or assuming your diff/ gear box is ok bolt some slicks on and see how it runs. Street tyres will give you greater mechanical sympathy, but your ET will not be as low. Just concentrate on the mph though

I was using an ACT lightweight flywheel (8lbs), this was ok, but would always bog down too much on the launch. I switched to an aftermarket, but significantly heavier, flywheel and immediately the 60 foots dropped (by more than 1 tenth) and the ETs came down as well.
PM me for more details if you like.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it.
My car is set up for club racing, supersprints and the like, so I would be reluctant to try the "full sick" launch technique adopted by the likes of AJC13B (10500rpm !!! OMFG) with drag slicks.
But would be interested to try it in street trim.
I love the Ferrari F40 (as many people on the forum know !) and have a article of it at a street meet @ Calder. With 478bhp 1100kg, it ran 127mph, so I recon with my 560+bhp (1070kg) I should be able to match that, as I have the same gearing (top speed). Hopefully crack 130mph?
take care

No Worries!
I don't launch with anywhere near the revs of AJC13B, but we have a slightly different setup Oh, and I am still quicker to the 60 foot mark (and quicker down the quarter) Hi AJC13B!
One of the guys in my old car club had an F40, I've been on the circuit (Lakeside) at the same time as him and that was great fun I have to say it sounds insane coming down the straight
Assuming the weights you quote are without driver, and assuming a 60kg driver, then :-
the F40 would run 10.7 @ 127mph on a good pass.
Your car could theoretically run 10.0 @ 135mph.
Note that my car is a fair bit heavier than yours (race ready)
Good Luck
