If you're going to use that thin of a wall I would atleast use 321SS;

you could probably make some sort of "mount" for the turbo. or jus do some bracing. I am either gonna run a T-61 or a GT-42 (clones, not actual garretss, im too poor) I am gonna use that same bend (well two of them) and figure out a way to make a mount or support as i was told you should never rely on the manifold to hold the weight of a turbo.

I built a 42R manifold for my 3 rotor. The turbo weighs over 40lbs. I wouldn't even think about supporting it with the manifold runners. I suspended mine from the water pump housing using a chrome alloy bracket that looks kind of like a suspension A-arm.

and my manifold is made out of sched 10 SS.... which is much thicker than thin wall 16 ga....... 16 ga un supported would just fall over once operating i would think![Smilie](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
the only way i would do a manifold in which the runners support full turbo weight is if the runners were of sched 40 pipe
this is on an a rew engine in my fc... and i could stand on the brace before any of the manifold was done
the 42 is a 45lb turbo.... which is considerable
